Penistone Church ended a 13-match winless run in the NCEL Premier with a 3-2 triumph at Frickley Athletic in front of a crowd of 786.
Nathan Keightley opened the scoring then, after Frickley levelled, Reece High and Keightley made it 3-1 at half-time.
Frickley pulled one back after the break.
Church are 15th, seven points and four places clear of the relegation zone.
Wombwell Town drew 1-1 at home to Golcar United.
Jordan Kershaw opened the scoring in the ninth minute but fellow relegation-battlers Golcar levelled in the 85th.
They are last and nine points adrift of safety.
