Plymouth’s last visit to Oakwell was in March 2023 when they lost 3-0 to then promotion rivals Barnsley.

The teams met on Easter Monday in 2019 when the Reds gained a vital 3-0 success in Devon which put them on the brink of promotion to the Championship under Daniel Stendel.
