Two loaned-out Barnsley players could feature in play-off games this midweek.
Andy Dallas’s Southend are due to play in the National League play-off eliminator at Scunthorpe on Tuesday. The striker has 17 goals for the season and is out of contract at Oakwell in the summer.
Goalkeeper Rogan Ravenhill could be involved in Macclesfield’s play-off game at home to Chester in the National League North on Wednesday.
The Hoyland lad, who has a long-term deal at Oakwell, had been a regular for Macclesfield since joining midway through the season but was on the bench for their final league game on Saturday.
Another goalkeeper Jackson Smith could play in the League Two play-offs with Grimsby who are sixth going into the final game on Saturday. He has kept 13 clean sheets in 25 games.
Meanwhile, Barnsley under 18s finished their season with a 4-0 loss at home to Millwall.
The young Reds had been in contention for a top two play-off place but lost their last three games and are third.
They could slip down to fifth depending on results at the weekend.
