Barnsley lost their fourth consecutive game after going down 1-0 to Huddersfield Town.

Jermaine Beckford's first half header gave the Terriers the points although it could have been more had it not been for the brilliant Luke Steele, who pulled off a world class save to deny Lee Novak in the second half.

Town also went close through Simon Church and another Novak chance but Steele again kept the score respectable.

Barnsley's best chance came in the first half when Tomasz Cywka's effort went over the bar. Marlon Harewood saw a powerful drive saved by Alex Smithies.
