SEVERAL Barnsley Ladies rugby union players are playing for Yorkshire in the County Championship.

They beat Lancashire 79-0 in their first game. The Barnsley players were Beth Arnold, Cara Cookland, Jess Taylor-Roberts, Jasmin Brankin and Amy Needham while Ellie Erskine is in the squad but did not play.
