BARNSLEY man Elliott Sanderson went out in the second round of the UK Pool Championships which took place this week.
The 32-year-old from Stairfoot is a professional pool player who has represented Great Britain.
He beat Marcel Price 9-6 in the first round on Tuesday.
But he was defeated 9-8 in the second round on Wednesday by fellow Brit Tom Staveley.
The event is taking place in Brentwood, Essex and is due to finish on Sunday.
Sanderson is a former civil servant who moved to Glasgow to play pool full-time.
