Police have confirmed that a body found in a beck near Broadwater, Bolton-upon-Dearne, at about 3pm yesterday is missing man Mohan Singh.
Mr Singh, 47, was known locally as 'John' and had been missing from his home in Wath-upon-Dearne since Monday, November 26.
Officers are not treating the incident at suspicious at this stage and a post mortem examination is due to be conducted later today in a bid to identify the cause of death.
Mr Singh had last been seen at his place of work, Spar Stores, Quarry Hill Road, Wath, at around 10.40am on November 26.
