ASHLEY Potter hit 110 off 98 balls with 14 fours and four sixes in Darfield’s home win over Wath 2nd XI in Division Three.

Josh Barrick added 69 in Darfield’s 294 then Saman Khursheed took six wickets and Nathan Kitchen three to remove the visitors for 97. Jonathan Plater made 50 for Wath.

Worsbrough Bridge won by 86 runs at Shiregreen 2nd XI. Callum Bentley (78) and Richard Taylor (59) led Bridge to 230 then Ryan Mann took five wickets and Liam Levitt four.

Higham’s 160 was not enough in a three-wicket loss at Sheffield United. Ryan Howarth and Gareth Kilburn took three wickets.

Wath opener Jason van Dyk made a second century in as many games as they chased 256 to beat Treeton by two wickets in Division One.

Van Dyk made 103 while sharing a stand of 188 with Imran Shah who scored 98 not out.

Houghton Main fell 20 runs short chasing 241 at Cawthorne 2nd XI, despite Asim Javed hitting 121 off 109 balls with 12 sixes.

Cawthorne’s Spencer Wiles made 54 and Charlie Parkin 72 then Ryan Gibson took five wickets.

West Bretton fell 180 runs short chasing 335 at home to Warmsworth.

Kexborough chased 114 for a seven-wicket win at Bradfield in Division Four. Matty Bowering and Rob Mynett took three wickets.

Wombwell Main were removed for 88 chasing 183 at Waverley in Division Five. Mark Mustill-Hope took four wickets for Main who remain top, six points ahead of Silkstone United who moved up to second with a home win over Barnby Dun. Joe Atkinson made 67 in Silkstone’s 207 then Finlay Allen took five for eight off seven overs to dismiss the visitors for 80.

Green Moor were out for 175 chasing 234 at Wadworth in Division Six.

Manoj Jayasekara took four wickets.

Dearne won by a wicket at Eden Madras Parklands 2nd XI in Division Nine North.
