YOUNG musician Jake EB ticked an item off his bucket list when he performed live with his idol Michael Buble.
Jake has gone from strength-to-strength recently having been on hit Netflix show ‘Simon Cowell: The Next Act’.
And fresh off being named as the Chronicle’s Young Inspiration winner at the Young Champions awards last month, Jake managed to sing live at one of his idol’s gigs.
Having brought a sign to the gig on Monday asking to sing with music sensation Buble, the Canadian singer gave him a little wink and from there he was all set.
The musician handed over his microphone to Jake who wowed the audience with his rendition of ‘Home’.
His mum, Alex, told the Chronicle: “I bought Jake some Buble tickets for his 18th birthday.
“When we were going we decided that we would try and get to the front.
“I had a flag made that said: ‘Michael, please will you sing with me?’
“Jake was waving the flag and Buble saw it and winked at him.
“Then a few songs later he come over to Jake and the rest is history.
“It was an absolute bucket list moment for him actually getting to sing with him.
“He floated home - he was on cloud nine.”
