FANS queued all night in the pouring rain to make sure they bagged their play off final tickets – and were disappointed not to be given a choice of seats.

Tickets for the Cardiff showpiece a week tomorrow went on sale to season ticket holders yesterday morning, and some fans were determined to make sure they booked their places.

David Fretwell was the first to arrive at Oakwell at 5.20pm on Wednesday. He said: “I promised that if we got to the final, I would queue all night.

“We thought we could get tickets for anywhere we wanted, but they said they would start selling them from the corner flags and work their way round, so we didn’t have a choice.”
