YOUNGSTERS in Kendray have drawn graffiti paintings to transform a room at their local youth group.
The young people all attend Kendray’s Youth Inclusion and Support Panel project on Farm Road and spent weeks carrying out the work.
Project manager, Robina Waheed, said: “The painting project was a real success.
"The young people learned about the implications of graffiti and how antisocial it was for their community, while developing their own drawing and designing skills. "They planned, budgeted and painted the room as well as providing the art to hang on the walls. They have every right to feel extremely proud.“
The community project is looking for volunteers to work with young people aged between eight and 17.
