ADDITIONAL market days will be held in Penistone and help give the town a boost, according to the trader behind the idea.
Keiron Knight, who sells stationary and crafts, has decided to set up regular second hand and collectables markets, which will start later this month.
The 45-year-old, from Holmfirth, is a previous stall holder at Penistone market and also sells at Barnsley market.
"You've just got to try in life, I'm as confident it will be a success as I can be," he said.
"If anything it will enhance the current markets because I think the more things happening in the town, the more it raises the profile of the area."
The markets will be held every Tuesday from September 16 and also on Sundays.
Sunday markets will take place on September 14 and 21, October 5 and 19, November 2, 16 and 30 and December 7 before they are held every second and fourth Sunday of the month in the new year.
