A SPATE of tyre slashing earlier this year has resurfaced in Hawshaw Lane, Hoyland.
Hoyland's Safer Neighbourhood Team said a number of car tyres were punctured with an unknown tool overnight between October 10 and 11.
An investigation is being carried out by local officers, including door-to-door enquiries and appeals for information via social media.
A spokeswoman said: "Officers wish to reassure local residents that the incidents are being taken seriously and links between this series of tyre punctures and similar incidents earlier this year are being considered."
