MANY happy returns to Edith Hollingsworth who celebrated her 100th birthday yesterday.
Born November 6, 1914, Edith worked in service as a young lady. She married Cyril Hollingsworth on March 23 1940 and they had two daughters Betty and Diane.
The family lived in Paper Mill Yard but for the past five years Edith has been resident at Cherry Trees Nursing Home, Cherry's Road, Cundy Cross.
Edith celebrated her big day with family, friends, fellow residents and staff at a party at the home with entertainment on the theme of The Good Old Days.
