BARNSLEY Hospice is looking for thrill seekers to take on a skydive or run the Great North Run and raise essential funds to help care for patients for life limiting illnesses.

On Sunday March 1 Barnsley Hospice will be taking over an airfield for fundraisers to experience an adrenaline filled tandem skydive from 15,000ft.

Fundraisers are asked to raise £395 or more and will be able to jump for free.

For those who prefer their feet closer to the ground, the hospice has 15 places in the Great North Run, the world's greatest half marathon on Sunday September 13.

Places cost £73 and runners are asked to raise £350 or more.

The money raised will be spent on providing care and support patients and to their families through illness and bereavement.

To request a place email helen.wells<\@>barnsley-hospice.org or call 323628.
