AN Ardsley woman and her son were lucky to walk away uninjured after a car ploughed into their home.
Catherine Burgin and her son Chris were sat watching television when the car, a black Peugeot, careered off the road, went through the garden wall, clipped the corner of the bungalow on Cumberland Drive, smashed into Chris's car which was parked on the drive and then ploughed into the garage.
A police spokesman said a 22-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
He was taken to hospital and is now in police custody.
