THIEVES have stolen valuable stones from a wall at Barnsley Hospital.
The authorities are now asking for help from the public in trying to track down the men who drove away with around £1,500 worth of stone.
They want to hear from anyone who was in the area of Pogmoor Road near to the junction of Winter Road during the early morning of February 13 between 5.30am and 6.30am after 30 yards of stone toppings were stolen from the hospital's boundary wall on Pogmoor Road.
Two vehicles were seen parked near to where the theft took place. The first was a distinctive large white and red Mercedes type van accompanied by a grey older style Ford Focus car.
