SHE may not be far from her 90th birthday but that did not stop Harriet Senior taking control in the cockpit.

The 88-year-old took to the skies with her flight instructor grandson Matthew, 26, after receiving a flying lesson as a present.

She flew from Gamston in Nottinghamshire and headed north towards the Humber Bridge during the trip.
