THE fundraising for a young woman with inoperable and aggressive cancer will continue this week with a friend from her school days shaving his hair off.
Luke Taylor, 22, from Loxley Avenue, Wombwell, attended Wath Comprehensive Sixth Form with Amy Usher, also 22.
Amy was recently told that her oesophageal cancer has grown too aggressively and is no longer responding to treatment.
She vowed to make as many memories this year and Luke wants to help raise enough money for her and her mum to go to Disneyland Paris.
An event was held in Goldthorpe last week with dancers from Lisa Thornley's School of Dance and others from around the region contributing £600.
