LANDMARK town centre buildings in Barnsley are to be demolished - by being eaten up from the inside.
Work will start to flatten central offices in a few months as part of the £50m Better Barnsley project.
The iconic structure, with its multicoloured windows and the retail units below, will not be demolished by explosives or wrecking balls but by remote controlled demolition robots.
