TRAVELLERS have returned to Darfield, setting up camp in a field and near Netherwood school.
The travellers, who moved onto the Longbow field near Barnsley Road and Saltersbrook Road and to a site near to Netherwood school, arrived overnight earlier this week.
A council spokesperson said: "Enforcement officers have been dispatched to verify the current situation and assess the impact on the surrounding community with a view to following the necessary legal procedures."
