IT was meant to be the holiday of a lifetime, but Barnsley lorry driver Tommy Wingate and the 12 members of his family who travelled with him on a cruise to celebrate his 60th birthday had their holiday ruined by gastric illness.

Travel law experts at Irwin Mitchell say it's the fourth year in six that they have received complaints about the ship.
Passengers allege food was served lukewarm and undercooked, and on occasions fresh food was placed on top of old food on the buffet.
