A HOST of former and current professional footballers will take part in a 24-hour, five-a-side football tournament to help raise money for a terminally ill mother.
Ex Barnsley FC players will join former Sheffield Wednesday and Sheffield United players and volunteers in the tournament organised by Bruce Dyer.
It aims to raise money to help Alex Cole-Swann, who was diagnosed with terminal cervical cancer, and to contribute towards the Sports Skills For Life Awards also organised by Bruce.
The event will be held at Barnsley FC on June 20.
