A gurning contest won by the oldest member, Roy Kilner, 83. when Bolton on Dearne's Impact Walking Group held a social evening to celebrate the opening of their new base in the Dearne Renaissance Centre. Gurning dates back to 1266 and the village of Egremont, Cumbria where the World Gurning Championships are held annually.
