TWO Royston pensioners who met at a weekly club in the village two years ago have tied the knot.
Raymond and Yvonne Wright, of Upper Lunns Close, first cast eyes on each other at the Darby and Joan.
Widower Raymond, 81, and divorcee Yvonne, 69, struck up a bond when the gentleman offered to walk Yvonne home from the group’s meeting.
The pair, who were married on board a cruise ship during their seven-country tour of Europe on November 4, kept their families in the dark.
