TWO dogs finding life a bit ‘woof’ after their owner died have been rehomed.

Pugsly and Finley featured in the Chronicle two weeks ago after an appeal by Barnsley Animal Rescue Charity to find them a forever home together after coming into their care at the Wath-based kennels.

Not long after a woman came forward to take in the 12-year-old pug and seven-year-old greyhound cross.

BARC kennel manager Kerry Flood said she and her staff are over the moon the boys have a new companion to look after them well into their twilight years - and just in time for Christmas.
