A SHAFTON school’s Christmas mission to donate toys to less fortunate kids ended in success.

In order to raise funds to buy the toys for youngsters at Barnsley Hospice, Outwood Academy’s Student Charity Committee sold raffle tickets to fellow students, staff and parents.

Around £100 was raised and students spent the cash on gifts suitable for babies to teenagers, which were dropped off at the hospice last week.
