Are you Barnsley’s best amateur pie maker?
Lovers of pastry perfection and a tasty filling are being urged to celebrate their appreciation for a good pie by taking part in the inaugural ‘McStables Annual Pie-off’ competition on January 23.
It has been launched by foodie and artist Michelle Clarke-Stables and sponsored by the Barnsley Chronicle.
Local author Milly Johnson will be flexing her tastebuds to help decide the winner and Michelle, who has handcrafted a special trophy for the winner, will also judge along with husband Matthew, who helps her run the monthly Bolted Horse Supper Club at her Spark Lane studio in Mapplewell.
