COUNCIL bosses will be given an update on the ambitious £50m town centre regeneration scheme.
The council’s ruling cabinet members will receive a report on the Better Barnsley project when they meet on Wednesday.
Plans for the regeneration include a revitalised town centre with new leisure and retail opportunities, a new central library, public square and the market located in the heart of the town centre.
