A BARNSLEY man high on drugs drove along streets and pavements busy with new year’s party goers before crashing into a minibus, a court was told.
Barnsley magistrates heard that Connor Hobson-Clark was spotted by a CCTV operative as he was driving without headlights along Westway during the early hours of New Year’s Eve.
Police were alerted and an officer pulled the car over.
But before the officer could speak to Hobson-Clark the car sped off towards the town centre.
