A WOMBWELL gymnast will be representing Yorkshire in a competition after taking home gold.
Finlay Parr, nine, from Crowley Drive, Wath, attends High View school in Wombwell. He took home a gold medal at this month’s qualifiers at the Metrodome for the National Development Pathway (NDP) semi-finals.
His skill in tumbling means he will be travelling to Birmingham Arena in May to compete, bringing him one step closer to the national finals.
