TEENAGERS urinating and vomiting in the street, drunken antics, shouting and swearing - it’s all in an average day for residents living close to a fast food giant.
Residents on Canal Street, off Old Mill Lane, Barnsley, say they are blighted by persistent antisocial behaviour caused by teenagers and late night revellers visiting the McDonald’s restaurant opposite their homes.
Malcolm and Susan Wood have lived in the row of four terraced houses since 1968.
The couple told the Chronicle they are plagued by the yobbish antics of kids as young as ten up to 16 gathering in large gangs and causing antisocial behaviour, attracted by the lure of McDonald’s as a place to meet and using a path running past their house as a shortcut to get there.
