CARE home staff are pulling out all the stops to find a willing volunteer to play an organ which has been donated to residents.
Susie McCormick, activities co-ordinator at Highgrove Care Home at Stairfoot, is desperate to find someone to play the instrument, which was donated by the relative of a resident.
She said: “We have this lovely organ that’s been donated very kindly and it is just sitting there because we have no one to play it occasionally for our residents.”
