THE Barnsley Save Our NHS group has arranged a public meeting to discuss ‘the crisis in the NHS and what can be done about it’.
Mike Smith, of the Save Our NHS Group, said: “The NHS is in the news at the moment with hospitals struggling with big overspends, the junior doctors continuing their strikes against the imposition of a contract and ambulance workers balloting for action.
The meeting will be addressed by a junior doctor, an ambulance worker and other NHS workers.
It will be held on May 14, 11am in the Miners Hall, Victoria Road, Barnsley.
