A RUNNER who set himself the mammoth task of running 401 marathons in 401 consecutive days ran his 252nd marathon in Barnsley on Monday.
Ben Smith, set himself the challenge to raise £250,000 for the charities Stonewall and Kidscape which try to tackle bullying.
He also aims to raise awareness of the problem of bullying as well as get as many people involved to push their own boundaries.
Ben, 33, of Bristol, came up with the challenge after suffering at the hands of bullies, eventually trying to take his own life at the age of 18 after suffering a nervous breakdown.
