A BRAVE young lad who has defied doctors at every stage of his life has enjoyed a fantastic family holiday for the first time in years thanks to a Barnsley charity.
Liam Hanley, ten, has a variety of heart problems so severe that doctors didn’t think he would even survive pregnancy.
But the youngster has just returned from a trip to the Lake District where he has had brilliant fun and made a new friend in Saki Roussos, 16, another seriously ill young lad.
The pair both had a holiday together with their families provided through the Lily Grace Cunliffe Foundation.
“It was just absolutely fantastic, I cannot tell you,” said Liam’s mum Clare, of Pontefract Road, Cudworth.
