THE quick-thinking actions of supermarket staff saved a woman’s life after she collapsed in store and stopped breathing.
Gail Tindall, 72, had been shopping in Asda with her daughter Kate Tindall, and one-year-old granddaughter Ava Grimes on Saturday afternoon when she started to feel dizzy and faint.
Sensing something was wrong, Kate who had been paying for her shopping, rushed over to her mother who then collapsed.
She said: “My mum had fainted but she had a cardiac arrest as well and stopped breathing for two minutes. I gave her CPR and another woman took over.
“Luckily they had a defibrillator and shocked her and brought her heartbeat back.
“That was more than customer service, they went above and beyond.”
