A MUM who joined the army to force herself off drugs and to pay back debts to her dealers wants to help others now she has turned her life around.
Victoria Prendergast is now married with two children and a third due any day, and has this month published her life story entitled The Army, Depression, Drugs and Me. She hopes it carries a hopeful message to soldiers and others who might be battling mental health issues and addiction and is now preparing to give talks to support groups to show people there is ‘a way out’.
