A FORMER teacher has admitted seven child sex charges involving a female pupil.
Scott Reeves, 29, pleaded guilty to three counts of sexual activity with a female under 16, three charges of making indecent photographs and one charge of inciting a female under 16 to engage in a sex act at Sheffield Crown Court.
Married Reeves, of Hillsborough, was suspended from Penistone Grammar on March 12 following the allegations. He pleaded guilty to all the charges last Friday.
Reeves had previously worked at Kingstone School before joining Penistone. Headteacher Jo Higgins said: "In March, when concerns were raised, and as safeguarding issues were involved, Mr Reeves was immediately suspended from his post at the school pending a police investigation. He subsequently left the employment of Penistone Grammar School at the beginning of this term."
Reeves has been bailed for sentencing on Monday, December 8.
