A SMITHIES couple daren't drink their water because of a white gooey slime which follows it out of the tap.
Raymond Key, 60, of Ryecroft, said: "It's absolutely disgusting. I won't drink it."
Yorkshire Water calls it bio-film, a bacteria which has got into the water system. For three years he has bought bottled water from supermarkets costing him £20 a week.
"We only bathe in it but we have to scoop all the stuff out of the bath before we get in," he said.
