Bookies' shop assistants Ada Wood and Lynne Hargreaves have spoken of the terrifying moment an armed robber pointed a gun in their faces.
The two women have been left traumatised after the balaclava-clad gunman robbed the Totesport betting shop in Kendray, escaping with up to £1,000.
"It's the worst experience I have ever had," said grandmother-of-two Ada.
"It's always going to be on my mind. I can still see him now with the gun pointing at me."
The pair were alone in the shop on Tuesday when the man came in at about 6.30pm. Police are investigating.
