Barnsley business are being invited to Canada and south-east Asia to explore commercial opportunities.
UK Trade and Investment has identified both regions as zones which may be of interest to British firms.
It is running the trade missions next month.
A spokesman said the Canadian trip is of particular interest for businesses specialising in life science and personal care.
Specialist Alastair Gardner, of UKTI, said: "Participating in this trip will enable those involved in this sector to learn more about the Canadian market and regulatory environment, identify commercial opportunities and strategic research and development partnerships, and showcase home-grown innovation."
The south-east Asia mission will take in Vietnam and Singapore. It will explore opportunities across all sectors of the growing economies but is of particular interest to businesses linked to ICT and the creative industries, construction and infrastructure, education and training, and financial and professional services.
Simon Bedford said: "The Vietnamese economy grew by 6.8 per cent last year alone, and a new Strategic Partnership Agreement with the UK government means there are real opportunities for local companies in virtually every sector.
"Singapore is equally buoyant, and boasts the fastest growing economy in the world. Both countries are therefore key overseas markets and this is your chance to explore them in person, whether as a newcomer to international trade or an experienced exporter looking for further global expansion."
