A sports car has smashed into the boundary wall of a property near Ward Green.
The Subaru Impreza was found sticking out of the wall by householder Steve Laybourn at about 6.30am on Wednesday.
Steve, 62, of Hound Hill Lane, said: "I came down for a coffee and went out to see my greyhounds and it was there.
"They whizz around that corner and lose control even in good weather."
He said the police had been called and were trying to trace the vehicle's owner.
Businessman Steve has lived in the house with his wife Barbara for five years, and says somebody had crashed into the wall every winter since.
He contacted ward councillor Betty Barlow last year to discuss the issue, but was told there was not much the council could do.
