A WOMAN has been sentenced after pleading guilty to three separate sexual offence charges.
Tracey Northwood, 52, of Low Grange Road, Thurnscoe, appeared at Doncaster Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday having pleaded guilty to one count of sending a photograph or film of genitals to cause alarm, distress or humiliate and two counts of sharing a photograph or film of a person in an intimate state without consent.
Northwood - also known as Cassie - stood to be a councillor in the Hoyland Milton ward in 2022 as a Conservative and then as an independent the year after.
She was ordered to complete 20 hours of rehabilitation and 140 hours of community service while being handed a lifetime restraining order.
Northwood was told she would have to sign on with the police for the next five years under the Sexual Offences Act.
