Penistone Church and Wombwell Town both lost on Saturday ahead of their NCEL Premier derby on Tuesday.
Penistone were beaten 1-0 at home by leaders Liversedge on Saturday in front of 447 fans. They have lost five in a row.
Town lost 2-1 at Albion Sports.
Eddie Agnew put them ahead but the hosts scored twice early in the second half. They have only collected a point from six away games this season.
Wombwell, who are 16th, are due to welcome Church, who are ninth, in midweek.
