A STAFF survey completed by Barnsley Hospital employees placed it as the best-performing NHS trust in the north.
The hospital ‘performed well’ in each of the nine domains of the survey, according to a report.
It added: “Barnsley was the best-performing trust in the north-east and Yorkshire region.
“We performed well across all nine domains of the staff survey, with at least one domain being the top in the country.
“Barnsley ranked first out of 21 acute trusts.”
