WENTWORTH Castle’s annual Rhododendron Weekend is set to attract thousands of visitors to Barnsley over the Bank Holiday.
On display will be one of the finest collections of rhododendrons in the country.
The gardens have been traditionally open to the public over Whitsun for more than 80 years.
Heritage director Richard Evans said: “We look forward to welcoming back many old and new friends and hope they will enjoy their visit. The restoration project is making good progress and we hope visitors will be impressed.”
The event is being held on Sunday and Monday.
