Barnsley manager Danny Wilson is interested in four or five more players after Australian winger Ryan Williams joined yesterday.
Williams, a 20-year-old winger, signed a month's loan from Championship club Fulham but Wilson admits he was not their top target and is still desperate to recruit up front, in central midfield and central defence. "I don't think Ryan is the priority at this moment in time but I think it's how things fall," said Wilson "We have prioritised areas but really it's how things become available.
"Ryan has been on our list for a long time and he's just about become available so we weren't going to miss it. "We still know where our priorities lie.
"We've conceded far too many goals and we need that bit of strength up top. If we get the players we've highlighted, they will be in the team."
Williams spent the bulk of last season on loan at League Two Oxford United where he scored seven times. Wilson said: "He's another option for us in the attacking side on either flank and up top as well. He's very creative."
