LITTLE Daisy Foster gave her parents the biggest fright of their lives when she struggled to breathe.

The 16-week-old little girl went limp and her breathing became laboured.

Mum Sally, 37, had returned from collecting her eldest son from nursery when her husband Terry, 32, came running into the room saying Daisy had vomited and her she wasn't breathing properly.

Sally said: "It was awful. She was really pale and her mouth looked like it was going blue. The ambulance was here within minutes. It was blue lights and sirens - I've never been in something so fast."

Daisy was in the resuscitation unit for two hours before being taken on to a ward where she spent four days.

She is now recovering at home.
