PLANS for shops, a hotel, health centre, petrol station and food and drink outlets have been submitted for a second site near Birdwell.
Barnsley-based Hartwood Estates want to develop part of the former Rockingham Colliery site off the Dearne Valley Parkway.
The application states the site is an important gateway to Barnsley and could encourage many companies to relocate.
